Required classes

Below you can see the classes which we do or do not need:

Mage - open
Hunter - open
Warrior - open
Warlock - open
Priest - open
Druid - open
Rogue - open
Paladin - open
Shaman - open

Even if your class is closed at this time, we will still take your application in consideration if it is good enough.

Before you begin, ask yourself this;

How enthusiastic are you about WOW and raiding? Be honest with yourself!
If you are a long time wow-er and feel most is boring, feel that a change might get you interested again maybe...
... please don't bother applying. You would only be wasting yours and our time.

If you are still immersed in the wonder & magic that is WOW, chances are you'll fit in just fine! Wink

Raiding

We are focusing primarily on raiding, so we are most interested in players with raiding experience. Appropriate gear (a few pieces of Karazhan, heroics, PvP or crafted epics) is also highly encouraged. We are only interested in level 70 characters.

Personality

The most important aspect of your application is how mature and friendly you come across. Gear can be helped, even skills can be trained, but we will expect you to behave in both guildchat/raids as in general and tradechannel. A big part of our guild consists of teamwork and our guild members need to be team players. There is no need for whining, excessive drama, or personal offense. If there are issues within the guild, they will be resolved in an adult manner. Those who cannot operate in this way will be removed from the guild.

This is a game, and we’re here to have fun. Although we are a raiding guild, we strive to be "casual-friendly" and recognize that everyone has commitments outside of the game and differing levels of interest in raiding.

Raidingtimes and rules

We usually raid 3 to 4 nights a week. Typically we start at 20.00 and finish between 23.00 and 24.00. If there is interest in continueing, we might. Invites start 15 minutes in advance, so make sure youre not in a group or offline at that time. Signing up does not guarantee a raidspot, but it does make it easier to start on time. Bring flasks/consumables to help you with the situation at hand. There will be an officer present at every raid and raids will only get planned by officers. If you want to raid with another guild or want to organise a raid for yourself, get permission from an officer.

To join our guild you will need the following:

CTRA (Raid Assist)
Omen or KTM
Deadly Bossmods
Groupcalendar (GRC)

Trial period

If you get accepted, you will enter a trial period in which we can see how active and friendly you are and you can see if you fit in with us. Trial periods will generally last between 2 and 4 weeks. If you are not active in the guild or in raids during that time, there is a big chance you will fail your trialperiod.

During your trial period you are not able to need on items. So members get priority on loot. Only if all raidmembers decide to not roll on an item, you can roll on it. Remember that when you are a member, you would not want a trial needing a drop that you could have used and then leaving the guild. You will however get priority over member offspec rolls.

At the end of the trialperiod, the officers will vote on you becoming a full member:

  • If the majority of the officers and the Guildleader approves, you will become a full member.

  • If more than two of the officers vote against the applicant, he/she will be removed from the guild

Alts

We allow one alt in the guild. Additional alts are welcome to join our alt social/leveling guild "Little Bregan". Alts are allowed to join in raids once that raid is on farmstatus, if we feel that they have sufficient gear/skill for it. Please note that alts are only allowed to roll on items that are not needed by any full members. When it comes to rolling they will have the same rights as trials. Switching alts to mains is allowed once every two months.

How to apply

To apply, first register to this forum (your password and username will be sent to you in an e-mail). Then log in and start a new topic in the application category.

The title of your topic should be your Charactername - level - race - spec - class. (So: Peewee, 70 Nightelf Restoration Druid) This way we can immediately tell with what kind of application we are dealing with.

Here is the application template, please copy/paste this into your application and answer all questions in the template, also copy the questions in there and leave a line open before the answer, so that we can actually read it.

1. Name/Country (real life first name and country)

2. Character name

3. Level

4. Class

5. Age

6. Attunements

7. Do you have CT-raid assist, Bossmods, Groupcalendar (GRC) and Threatmeter (Omen/KTM) installed?

8. Estimated times online (Please give these in general time, per day, in server time)

9. Previous Guilds (and why did you leave?)

10. Reasons for joining

11. People already known in the guild

12. Main language (how good is your English?)

13. What is your talent spec?

14. Do you agree with the guild rules?

15. Could you link us to your armory profile so we can see what gear and talents you have?

16. What professions do you have and do you have any special patterns or recipes to contribute to the guild?

17. What do you expect from the guild and what can we expect from you?

18. What TBC factions are you honored with? (Or: which heroic keys do you have?)

19. How familiar are you already with those instances?

20. Anything else you'd like to share with us?

And at the end of your application please post a flower so that we know you actually read this page and agree with all the rules.

Please be patient, you probably will not get invited within 24 hours. The officers will need to be able to read your apply and respond to it.[list][*]
